General terms and conditions of business and sale for Cassette Deck Service.
These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are issued by Andrej Češarek, s.p. (trading as Cassette Deck Service), Sojerjeva 41, 1117 Ljubljana, Slovenia. Registration No.: 2203968500207 | Tax No.: 96705442 (not VAT-registered).
These Terms govern the relationship between the provider and the customer regarding orders for servicing/repair/restoration ("Services") and purchases of physical goods via the website ("Products"). By placing an order or enquiry, the customer confirms acceptance of these Terms.
All prices are in EUR. The provider is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. Shipping costs are not included unless explicitly stated.
Payment can be made via: PayPal, Revolut, or bank transfer.
By arrangement, the customer ships or personally delivers the device. Before repairs, the provider may give an estimated cost; the final price may differ based on actual condition found upon inspection. The customer is notified of significant deviations before work continues. Turnaround time depends on parts availability and scope of work.
An order is placed once the customer confirms purchase and completes payment. Shipments are sent via Pošta Slovenije or GLS. Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon receipt, unless otherwise required by law.
For products: consumers may withdraw within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. Goods must be returned undamaged; return costs are borne by the consumer (unless goods were incorrect/defective). The provider refunds payment no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice/returned goods.
For services: if the consumer expressly requested work to begin before the 14-day period expires and the service is fully performed, the right of withdrawal no longer applies. If not fully performed, the consumer may withdraw but must pay a proportionate amount for work already done.
Exception: the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made or calibrated specifically for the consumer's device.
The customer may claim liability for material defects under applicable law (Obligations Code, ZVPot-1). Complaints should be sent to info@cassettedeck-service.com with a description and proof of order.
For repaired/restored devices, the provider offers a 1-year warranty on the work performed, included in the service price. An extended 2-year warranty is available for an additional fee and must be expressly requested when placing the order. Exact scope, duration, and any surcharge will be stated on the invoice or agreed at the time of order.
The provider will endeavor to resolve disputes amicably. Consumers may also file a complaint via the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Data processing is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The provider may amend these Terms from time to time; the version in effect on the date an order is placed applies to that order.
